My otherwise very reliable 1993 Rascal van has started acting up a bit recently.
One of the rear brake seems to lock on after the handbrake has been applied for more than a minute or two. If I try to drive forward, it releases with a jerk. Trying to reverse doesn't work at all as the van refuses to move.

I won't have much time to look at it for a couple of weeks, so the van is tucked away in my garage at the moment.

Has anyone else had a similar issue? Any opinions on the possible cause would be welcome.

Thanks

Gary

Worn brake linings/drums can result in the actuating cam going over the top of their travel limits and wedging the brakes on.
