Does anyone lube or put brake fluid on the brake caliper when winding back in?

Did the ole back brakes last night on my volvo - made sure i put them on the right way round this time!

Ive never done rear pads before but winding in was fairly straightforwards with the little tool i bought from ebay.  One weird thing is they get stuck on a bit the first time i push the caliper back out - so i had to remove, wind caliper back a bit and then push out again.

I was doing it because my rear handbrake snapped on the offside.

I also bought a hockey puck pad for my trolley jack - lets you use the sill jacking point.  A small revelation.
