Has anyone successfully put swivel seat bases into a standard Rascal?

I've seen some on ebay that lift the seat up by 3cm, which may be tight, but I'm more concerned about things like the centre console getting in the way.

So, doable or not - and any tricks or recommendations to make it viable?

If it's just an issue of clearance, could they be lifted, spun and put back down?

I would imagine it wouldn't be easy but I think anything Is possible if you put a good mind in it..if you think the end result is worth the effort..go for it..

Well yeah of course the end result will be worth it, but I'd rather learn from the experience of someone who's done it successfully (or from someone who's tried and failed) - the swivel plates aren't cheap so I don't want to invest in something if it's not going to work.
