Who wants to watch telly when camping. You might as well stay at home. Get down the local pub, be sociable & start chatting or go for a walk.

The dongle for the internet would be usefull for looking up places of interest and google-ing stuff on route plus perhaps multi-maps.

The other for the tele is her indoor's idea.  her lap top plays dvd's but she thought the tele might also be usefull when snuggleing down in the bambi in the evening?

I've used the Freecom DVB-TV USB freeview reciever on my laptop and it worked great (Shop around and you can get it quite cheap)  I did have a slightly better ariel than the one that comes with the kit though.  Very easy to use ect.  I also used the 3 mobile broadband and it's great.  It works better still if you use an extension cable and put the dongle on top of the van.

Hope it helps

I also bought a Vodaphone 03 dongle on e bay.

It has £15 of pre paid credit and 180 day before it needs to be used up/topped up.

The Newer dongles need to have the £15 credit used up in 30 days and it dose'nt roll over!

Zattoo used to be good, but they have lost a few channels recently.
