there is a frame that holds the headlight so you can adjust it,just not sure if it is glued or something similar

When you say remove it , do you mean take it off of the van or off of the lamp?  took mine off of the lamps and cleaned and resprayed them but it is dark outside now and I can`t remember how the frame comes off of the lamp, was it in two parts that screw together? can`t remember sorry will take it apart and look tomorrow if you like.
