Hi,
My sons throttle cable has snapped on his Rascal van. I have looked on bedfordrascal.com and a few other places for one but can't no joy. Any ideas of a good place to try? Anyone got one they haven't used and want to sell? Anyone know if one from a Suzuki would fit? Any ideas, just need to get him back on the road with it again.

Cheers Alison.

Hello Alison, I have new & secondhand throttle cables. A new one is £40.00 or a good s/hand one is £20.00. Postage is £3.00.

Hello Alison, Your welcome.  Wire or cable tie the new cable to the old one & use the old one to pull the new one through the arch tunnel.
  Cheers, Derek.

Excellent advice, luckily it won't be me doing the fixing. I will fix anything on a computer that can be taken apart on the table in front of me but my days of scrabbling around under vehicles is over thank heavens! I always showed willing by changing tyres etc,  if needed but so glad I don't anymore Smiley

Hi, just to let you know we (as in my son and my partner) fitted the throttle cable today, did as you suggested used cable ties to attach to the old one and pulled new one through. Sorted. He will be taking it back to uni with him tomorrow and he is well chuffed.

Thanks again, really appreciated.
