Forgive me if I make mistakes as I am not sure of all this.
I have a 1994 Suzuki and have "all the info on it", but the
engine and rear axle is at the end of its life.

I got a 1997 Suzuki van, (originally for spares) but decided
to fix it up, rather than put the engine and rear axle in the
old one.

The carburettor is  different. It there anywhere I can get
info about this carb. as I would like to fit a fuel filter just
at the carb as I had dirt problems on the 1994 model.

I have a comprehensive workshop manual on the 1994
one, but nothing on the 1997 model.

Any suggestions/information would be very welcome.

I did put an in-line filer just before the carb as well as the original.
It runs fine and hopefully I will not have the fuel problems i had
before.

Fuel filters are always a good thing, either end of the pipe, so long as they don't restrict the flow. You'll know if all's well by the pumps 'ticking'
