Have just aquired a pop top for my van. Now this may sound like a silly question but how do you go about fitting it! I have a large tin opener lol, but am looking for technical information on fitting :-)
Cheers

lol yes definately with you on that one Dave :-). I need to know the dimensions of the hole to cut, how far back from the front, how far in from the sides etc.

Hi Andyp

Is it the one that went for the silly cheap price on ebay the other day?  Derek(Dellboy) might know the size I think I remember him telling me that he had done one before and that you have to weld in bars to strengthen the roof.

You must take pics of the job though so we can all see how it is done.

Good luck

Well I won it for £46 on Ebay, but its going to cost me another £40 odd to get it as its on the Isle of Wight. Any information as to go about doing this is welcome, I was happy to leave the roof as is but the better half reckoned it would be better with the extra head room lol.
