Chops right Dave.. I know where you're coming from because Scimitars were mostly ford but the wheels were 4.1/2 pcd ie not ford ..heavens knows why.

Scimitar wheels can be wolfrace slot as we have seen, steel 5.1/2 j on the old SE5 Scimitar or a hybrid steel with moulded insert also 5.1/2j fitted to the SE6 and 6A

Scimitar wheels are available from Ebay of course and Will Sparrow in Tamworth and Graham Walker in Chester www.grahamwalker .co.uk or Queensberry Road Garage in Kettering www.qrgservices.co.uk. They are all 14" so you will need to fit a 60 profile tyre to keep the rolling radius down to similar to orginal Rascal tyres... not sure about the offset and spacer requirements but the PCD is OK

Best site for fixing the OD of the wheels with tyres is the www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator have fun trying different combinations before you buy.

The tyre size calculator is very cool, with my new 165/60/14 tyres on the Wolfrace wheels I will be doing 3% more then it says on the speedo. Just wish the wheel nuts would get here so I can try them out.

that may not happen
i had 15" alloys which theoretically added approximatly 20% to my speedo, which woud make it top out at 100mph!!! but it never. my speedo was actually spot on (going off my sat nav) however, i never checked it before fitting them.
