Very sorry to hear you have lost your van. At the moment the africans are desparate for vans. I reckon it was taken to sell to them. They maybe have a ship going out of Tilbury soon & are trying to make up a full load. All owners, especially in the south east MUST put additional good security on there vans to prevent the van being physically moved.  Derek.

a strange occurance occured the other day ..i was out but the wife tells me a van pulled up outside the house and some blokes were looking from the van down my drive ...one came and knocked on the door and asked if we wanted to sell the little pick up...she told them no and they drove off...sounds dodgy to me....i have fitted a secret switch ...that disables the truck so they wil struggle to start it ..hopefully they were just enquireing....they were in a white warrior type pick up truck...Huh?/

One of my old customers a few years ago looked through his shop window & saw his van being dragged onto a low loader, handbrake still on etc. He tore out of the shop suitably equipped to engage in polite conversation & managed to retain his van. This particular van was my first ever refurbishment & I sold it two weeks ago to the africans for export.
So, you need a physical security restraint such as a wheel clamp to try to hold onto your van. They are not much interested in pickups Chop except for Nissan Cabstars. Derek.

They have the roof cut off & go into containers as I understand. Getting into Tilbury Docks which is down the road to me is virtually impossible. They have there own Docks police keeping people out & the Docks are enormous. Derek.
