Hey guys, just thought some of you may be interested.

Below are two videos of my efforts with a shed I got my dad this xmas, it is gradually becoming completely solar powered so he can run lights, tv, radio, heater, power tools and mower from it Smiley

Currently we just upgraded yesterday to give plenty of power generation from the panels, but only have a 300w 12v->240v inverter at the moment so that is the most powerful we can run main at the moment. Though the next upgrade with be a 2,000w inverter so he can happily run his mower/drills/anything at the weekends using nothing but the sun Smiley

Had a look, can not believe you are getting that much power from such a small couple of panels, has the panel tech moved that much, was expecting a shed covered in panels, well done! will watch with interest.

Thanks, interesting little read.

Yeah, I think panels are getting quite good / cheap compared to what they used to be.

The two panel system I now have for my dad can make about 60-80w/hour on a good day. When tested today it was making 50w and that was during the afternoon when the sun was on it's way down Smiley
