Rascal Pick Up
«

Hi
I have a Rascal pick up I am currently restoring. The original load bed is in poor condition so I have aquired a Diahatsu Hijet load bed. Has anyone had any experience modifying this type of load bed to fit the Rascal?
Also are there any standard car wheels that fit direct to Rascal hubs? I have heard that Suzuki Swift wheels fit but would like someone to confirm.
Cheers

Hi,
yes the Swift's wheels, in my case the OZ Alloys which are the ones on the Swift.
Big, seemingly endless debate on this for some reason, but for fitting OK, yes the Swift, OZ Alloys are the ones.
BUT, you will need spacers & longer studs, and the nuts that are conical & self centering.
Does that help?

The standard steel wheels off the older type swifts will go straight on the rascal with no alterations at all...

Thanks Both.
Big help. Next question is where am I likely to find these wheels? Is there anywhere that sells new swift wheels or is it a case of just waiting for them to appear on ebay?
Cheers

Yep, it's e bay or a breakers.
Most likely available new, 'OZ WHEELS' but I wouldn't want to know a price.
Search for OZ & Suzuki Swift on e eBay
