I know it's probably been asked before on the old forum and I'm sure it will get asked again..... but what kind of fuel consumption should I expect to get out of my razzy? I probably get just under 200 miles on a full tank on a long drive. Is this about the same as everybody else? I must confess I do drive her pretty hard, but those damn hills just keep on getting in the way and if i want to keep moving I have to put my foot down Cheers Matt

its a question that will pop up every other week ...
i fill up every week ..i put £20 in everytime and i get 140-150 miles
which by the way is rubbish....it has become my obsession ..i am constantly changing things ...to try to improve it ..but i still love it..lol

Ha ha so I can see from the old forum. It looks like you have pretty much taken every thing apart and not had much luck. I don't feel I can complain about my fuel consumption now, I Just found it annoying that I have to fill up twice when I travel the 200 miles home to Devon. I have now bought a 10 ltr jerry can to extend the range of my van.

Here we go again! I get 40 to 60 m.p.g. BUT, I live in the Essex flatlands & I only caress my throttle pedal & freewheel a lot. Boy Racers wont achieve these figures. 35 to 45 is a good average & what the manufacturer expected. Also my vans are tuned to the optimum performance from an old vehicle. Derek.

My Van:
55-60Mph Cruising = 8Miles/£ = 35Mpg 55-60Mph Loaded = 7Miles/£ = 30Mpg
70Mph unloaded = 7Miles/£ = 30Mpg 70Mph loaded = 6Miles/£ = 26Mpg
80Mph+ = 4-5Miles/£ = 20Mpg
Around town = 20-30Mpg depending on terrain, load and driving style
So depending on the above...based on the tank being 30L (not counting reserve):
average of 180Miles/tank

You`ve lost me on this one. How can timing belt tension affect performance to any noticeable degree? Please explain. Derek.

if its too loose like my one was, and im glad it didnt jump a tooth, the timing will be retarded, now that mine is set properly, its TONS more responsive, dunno about fuel consumption but it seams alright atm
