Hello all. I have just bought an F reg Danbury renegade after looking for one fr a while and I'm well pleased with it. Was looking at your forum for a while before and am now pleased to be able to join! I used to have a diesel vw t25 (the square shaped 80's one), but couldn't do anything with it over winter, so started to look for something smaller and came across the Danbury. Looked for a while and eventually bought this one on ebay. I picked it up from Todmorden near Rochdale on Friday and set off on my way back to Kent(!). I had intended to avoid the motorway and to stop overnight, but kept getting lost and having to turn back (lack of planning) so got p***ed off and ventured onto the M1. I was amazed at how well the tiny van did, sitting happily at 65-70, even though I couldn't hear the radio! I the end, I did the 300 mile journey with just one stop for fuel and without any real hitch. I am amazed by the design of the van-so clever and lives up to the "tardis" nickname. I have already had the whole interior out and put new carpet in as well as a good clean. I look forward to putting some pics on, getting some advice and seeing all your vans. I worry that I may have a new obsession....

PS my name's Roland, the van is called Robert Bedford-it made me laugh in those radio free hours on the way back!

Thanks Chop, I wish I had known that, I would have gone for a look! Nice little old town though.

Thanks Derek, was going to ask where you are as you seem to know what you're talking about and do parts. You couldn't be much closer as I'm in Tonbridge!  Used to work at Little Brook Hospital which I think is in Stone. Last turn off m25 before tunnel then right at first rounabout straight over at second if I remember? Anywhere near that?

Jenxxy, will put put some pics on soon and thanks jj.

My best mate at Junior school was named Peter Allcock which as he got older was going to be hard to live with!!!! Of course his nickname was "No Balls". Derek.
