DONE IT! Had to trim the slight turned in ends off to fit, but the two top bolts line up with the holes in the Rascal and the centre one behind the reg. plate, Just a couple of bolts needed on the two outer bottom edges, I'll do that tomorrow! I knew it would fit, where there's a will....... Titch

To be honest it didn't need the hammer, I just pushed gently with my foot!!
The only technical bit was the trimming of the outside edges, they are very very slightly wider than the standard Rascal one and these turned in corners fouled a bit.
Steady hand with a sharp blade in the Stanley knife took off the 3/8" that was basically a small radius. I'll take a picture today of it on though...... then it's the colour coded finish when I paint it!
Grill & light surrounds being painted gloss black too! Oh and I'll highlight the word BEDFORD with a brushed aluminium effect I think too.

Well I really like it, sort of 'Beefs' up the front end. I'll wire the sidelights in too sometime, then I'll have four sidelights on the front!! Whadda Ya Think Chop?? JJ's fault I've spent some more pennies (£15.00, I was lucky I guess)

I think it looks really cool Titch. Problem is going to be now that they will be in short supply as we all will want to change over to this type of bumper . Did you have to bend any metal or was it just a case of altering the bumper?

No metal work no, two top holes in Rascal line up with bumper bolts on roight angled brackets and the centre one behind the reg. plate, straight on!
Trickiest bit was trimming the edge off the outer ends of the bumper, in all honesty, the bottom part of the underbody on my truck may be a little mis shaped, but I think it will always need the edges cut off the bumper. 1/2" probably each side, just do a bit at a time. Hardest bit is keeping the bumper steady whilst cutting. I was going to gaffer tape it to the missus and tell her to lie still, but... if I'd slipped with the stanley knife it would have made a right mess over my bumper, so I just went steady, scribe a line, then keep going over it!!

On the late vans the corners are set back & the bumper fits into the recess hence you had to cut it down to fit. Personally i don`t like the look but, Hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just ask Mrs. Titch!!!!

Yep, each to their own really, even Mrs.Titch commented on how she liked it, ooh, must de tape her I need my dinner today!
In all honesty yes, the rounded ends are different to the flat Rascal bumper and it's those that foul when trying to fit, so it's just a case of making it back to a flat bumper really. The 'vent' or scoop for airflow that is built into these bumpers, I would say throws the air better at the radiator, I would think it collects (scoops) air better than the normal van panels which a lot of which would just pass underneath the whole vehicle, this one aims it towards the centre running off the width of the bumper. Can only be a good thing, Might, be the reason they were produced even?

Hi Titch
Is one of the light fitting in the bumper on the wrong way round or is that the way it is supposed to be?
