hi guys was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to heat the back of my van. in the front its always toasty and warm but if your in the back its bloody freezer, would a little plug in 12volt heater normally used to demist your windscreen work?
i already worked out how to do my own DIY version of air con
but i really am struggling to think of a strong enough heat source that doesn't run off gas.
any body been thinking along these lines or is is just mad old me again??

get small heater matrix same size bypass one of the hoses to feed it then put fan behind it to push out warm air use variable resistor to feed fan fan to give you speed fit into wooden box by sliding door the tap feed hosse to where u want heat
no 2 small copper coil round exhaust feed into van to small heater matrix fan again small top up tank in wing

eberspacher?
quite expensive, even second hand ones, but well worth it with instant heat.
good investment and you will always get your money back when you come to sell it.
expect £150 to £400 for a working one dependant when and where you find them

i have a diesel eberspacher in the roma and it works a treat . its mounted in one of the under seat lockers at the moment but i will be moving it to a dedicated locker under the flat bed when i get a chance. just a little noisy to be inside .. just to let you know how good it is. i have spent many sub zero nights in the roma and have never been cold even with minus 17 deg outs side. i cranked it up and got plus 27deg inside .. positively toastie i say. noah
