I'm from greece Athens and I have a Suzuki Super Carry, model year 1997 5th gear, with engine 1000cc, 44bhp and my car has 92000 km or 57166 miles all these year. Generally I am very satisfied with my car. The only problem which I have is about the consumption. My car consume about 11 litre / 100 kilometers in the city driving, with normal way of driving. I wonder if this consumption is normal because here in Greece none of the mechanics can give me an answer. So I'm very happy that I found a forum for this wonderful small van.

Sure there'll be a van owner along in a minute, but as I've got a camper my mpg is a bit different.  From what I gather on average 35 mpg is about normal for the vans, but obviously this will be less in town.

Yours is doing about 25.7 mpg at that, so if you're doing a lot of short journeys, thats a little bit low, but probably not too bad?

I get about the same mpg round town, a good service may improve it, but not by much

Thank you for your prompt response. The reason which I wonder about consumption is that I believe something goes wrong.
A few years ago the consumption was less than now. I think that the carburetor needs cleaning.
