I am currently building up two engines. One will be ready next week.
I strip the engine & clean everything out & rebuild it with the following new parts after checking the bottom end & cylinder bore are sound.
Piston rings.
Core plugs.
Water pump.
Timing belt.
All new seals & gaskets.
Head gasket.
Valve stem seals.
Oil filter.
Cost is £500.00.
I am based in Dartford, Kent.
Fitting is £120.00 plus the cost of fluids.

Generally it takes a day to rebuild an engine. I test run & set up the engine on a test bed before fitting.
My preference is to fit a cleaned/set up & sorted carb at the same time. This is another £25.00.
I also like to do the distributor as well with new points, condenser, rotor arm, distributor cap, ignition leads & spark plugs. This adds £60.00 to the bill.
I take out the old exchange engine while the client waits fit the rebuilt unit & send them on there way between 4 to 6 hours later.
