looking to put in a set of bucket style seats up front,
along the lines of cobra classics like used in some early cliassic minis.

has anyone done this with different seats or tried a seat to find it wont fit..
any particular brand that people know will fit?

I put in a pair of Vitara seats with a bit of cutting and bracket bolting !

the main thing to remember is the height of the base to thick and you hit your head,i have had various seats in but went back to original and had them recovered,the best i had was old cobra seats

funny you should say that, ive now managed to get hold of a brand new set of cobra classic style bucket seats.,
used the std seat runners and fabbed up some spreader bars.
need to lower the front bar and raise the rear to get the back rest angle a bit better but fits a treat and is mighty comfy!
