 Hi am looking for a passenger door mirror mine was shoved in and when i tried to pull it back the bloomin thing just snapped any help would be much appreciated ,also any opinions on electronic ignitions i seen one on ebay at £149.00 described as original denso , any one know the best type to buy for rascal van

This is not an electronic ignition system.
I guess it is some sort of spark booster.
You still have to use the standard contact breakers which are the Achilles Heel of the rascal ignition system in that they wear rapidly & fall out of adjustment.
A proper, full electronic system includes electronically controlled advance/retard doing away with the mechanical one fitted in the distributor, electronic ignition switching giving totally accurate spark ignition timing doing away with the generally inaccurate contact breaker points switching.
I stripped out a similar system from my Cresta when I first bought it which was giving electrical problems.
Also, I have stripped 4 or 5 different systems out of various Rascarrys. All supposed to be the magic wand.
Personally I think they are a 50 year old con on the home mechanic.

I agree Dell, it's either electronic ignition totally, or just half a job!
