wire colour

hi all
can anyone tell me what colour wire i need in the headlight part of the loom to connect up my two spotlights, ive tried them all with a scotch block connection but nothing happens

Have you forgotten the earth return?

nope not forgotten both individual lights earthed and relay as well

You can't wire them that way as the system has the earth on the switched side.
So lights have power to them and then earth is back via the switch. NOT power to the switch and then down to the lights and then earth.

so individual lights do not need earthing so just join there wires together and just earth relay if im coming off the original switch on column, yes ?
