Sorry if this has been covered before... can someone tell me what 'type' of split charge relay to fit - ie what is the amps?

A 20 or 30 amp one will be fine.

Just as an afterthought, if your Bambi has the standard RM122 or RM123 fridge you will need a split charge relay for that too.

This will allow you to optionally run the fridge off the vehicle alternator while driving along.
