Any recommendations of where to purchase an awning for my romahome. One that is a driveaway, easy to put up and hopefully attach to the van. There are tons out there on various websites, and i'm totally confused now.......it doesn't take much  Grin

Cheers

Hi Jannermaid, I use the Outhouse Handi XL which is about 6 feet square and just the right size for the Bambi.  It does attach to the Bambi as well, and you can drive away leaving the awning in place.

There's a couple of pictures of it in this album http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150298031461528.385411.689326527&type=1&l=7b85157bfb

I bought it because I'd seen quite a number of Bambi club members using it so I figured it must be OK  Grin

There's a 3 page review of it in the Sep/Oct 2011 Bambi owners club magazine, if you send me a personal message with your address I'll stick a copy in the post for you.

Hi

I use the same awning as Duncan on a Romahome, so also agree there pretty good value - I think we paid about £70.00 a couple of years ago.  Some additional guide ropes in windy conditions would be a good idea as the poles are very flexible/it doesn't have too many guide ropes as standard.

Cheers
