hey guys
i have recently sourced an insurer whom will insure our little vans for a mere 160 quid fully comp provided no convictions etc,etc
he will also reduce the premium if we can supply a membership number.
as a suggestion to help out our fellow rascalers would it be worhwhile creating something??
tryed to email van but keeps bouncing back

Giving a membership length of time for a member may lead the insurer to think that you have only joined this club for the possibly cheap insurance. Not a good idea.  |

Hey guys, This has been suggested a few times but my reply has generally been that I don't believe we are big enough or 'official' enough to be able to get these benefits. I am however open to giving this a go if someone on here is aware of the requirements involved? Let me know and I'll see if we can put something together, I'll be having a clear out of the spam/fake users this week so should be able to give us an idea of numbers of active users  -Van |

I wrote the post in haste and made a couple of spelling mistakes, now rectified.
Please read my post again and if you still think the same as in your current post I will endevour to explain my point more succinctly, as at the moment I think your missing the point of what I'm getting at.

2012 getting off to a rather crabby start Loosen up a little & try this  Saving any sort of money is a great idea.... Van's,pickup's,Camper's, Bambi's are all different, so the insurance would be too......... & joining a club usually goes along with buying one of the above....... If you can get it cheaper so be it, but worth trying anything to maybe saving a little more for some... Amen  |

whos got crabs lol was only mentioned as it seem by his avatar he has a van and would have thought that insurance on van would be cheaper as no contents insurance

Jimbo what have you done here lad, all I can say is that I'm about 200 years old and paying approx 250 pounds per year, but if anyone has a name for an insurer that can give good service to us all let it be stated . And ill be number 47 if it helps out and you can be number 1 cos its your idea
