can you up rate your alternator from 40 amps,or buy a higher rated one that fits

looks like i might have a wiring problem fuse for horn melted and my fog light switch is lighting up when it is switched off not quite my thing exsiting wiring,getting to the stage it might have to go need reliabilty for work,looks like my 2 days for chilling out of the window ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

good luck matey..like i said in an earlier post...check for water in multi plugs..just plod on with a tester for continuity...one at a time...could take some finding

Sounds like another bad earth. Since i put a new fog light assembly on, my interior light only works very dimly. Actually when its switched on the main beam warning light comes on.
Ive not checked the haynes for the wiring route but im betting that most of that circuit shares a common earth.

if you dont know much about your van..then a haynes manual would be a good investment ....
