Hot air duct for winter running. Clamps onto exhaust manifold shroud and has often gone missing[shroud & pipe]. The shroud bolts over the exhaust manifold with a right angled outlet facing the rear for the hot air duct pipe to fit onto. From there it goes to winter/summer air intake valve via another plastic manifold but trucks dont have this extra piece. Another section of pipe then goes from the valve to the air filter box.

the warm air cowl is fixed to the exhaust manifold with 3 small nuts...one of which is also used for the earth strap....usually they are so rusted and difficult to get off but if your lucky and maybe with a set of mole grips and a little oil ..they should work off....
it has a front which you can see and it also has a back joined together with a few little fastners ....i have chucked the back section as its not really needed...the hot air flexi-tubing is fixed to it with a jubilee clamp....and it goes to the warm air flap housing which has the winter/summer settings

Probably not that bad in reality, with the 10% anyway, just make sure they extend the back enough to allow for the motorhome body.

Thanks Titch for your concern all dun and dusted with exhaust sticking out beyond the back of the cab, what i was not to keen on they charge to get rid of my old exhaust only £1.70 but a bit of a cheek i think.

I find that incredible that they charge to dispose of scrap metal at present with the cash value of it now.

That's right, exhausts themselves don't weigh a lot, but a skip full squashed down will!!! Then there's the cats that they put separate, now that's very good money in scrap. And to think they charged, they are getting paid twice!!
funny owd world, ain't it...

Derek £80.00 sounds good but i live in Dorset it would cost what i paid in petrol to get to you but you never know when i may need your services and could make the trip. Your info on the Bambi must be extensive and most helpful. All the best for the new year and roll on the Spring.
