So, she starts fine when the engine is cold, and she'll start fine after being off for a short time (maybe 10 minutes) but if it's nearer 20-30 minutes she won't catch, then when she does it's either a high revving affair or a very weak start that gradually gets going.

Oh, and it's always in a busy car park, when I'm in a hurry  Cheesy

I though I remembered this being mentioned previously but I can't find it now.

Anyone?

Don't know whether fuel vapourisation affects Rascals, but sounds like that to me - appears to be a fuelling issue anyway?

i have similar problems with mine as i use mine for gardening so lots of stopping and starting
i found a bit of throttle helped
perhaps u might be flooding it
check ur spark plugs

Always does this to me in tescos car park with lots of people around. hahaha. I normally find it worse when its warm weather. I believe it to be fuel vaporisation. I give it full throttle to get as much cool air in as poss and it does eventually fire up.

This is a common problem.
Pedal to the floor usually sorts it.
