Hi all,
Anyone got any thoughts on a replacement head gasket or head set. It's a 1990 model. My local guy can get them easily enough but I am not sure if there is a preferred manufacturer that I should go for.
What do you think?

Payen is generally regarded as best but expensive.
I have changed hundreds of head gaskets on Rascal`s over the years & I fit whatever is cheapest at the time &  I`ve had no problems.
I torque down to 54 pounds which is more than the manuals state.

Thanks Derek, i'll go with my local guy. Do you reuse the bolts if you torque down to 54?
