ayup again just read your other post regarding rotor arm and distributor cap . the points are in there. remove dizzy cap and  rotor arm the little fella is hiding behind the rotor arm. a torch , scewdriver and a funny shaped crick in your neck will get the job done noah

Set the gap to 0.6m.m. not 0.4 or 0.5 as stated in the manual.

Get yourself a condenser, this fits to the outside of the distributor, always replace this when changing the points, when they go faulty, they cause all sorts of running & starting problems, i always carry a spare one  Wink

And clean the distributor body under the condenser till the alloy shines before fitting the new condenser to the body to give a good earth.

Get a condenser jj?
Youv`e got electronic ignition haven`t you so no need for a condenser.
Bad news at my suppliers today. Condensers & c.b. points are no longer available.
Done an internet search with no luck.
Anyone know of alternatives?

Thanks JJ.,
Please buy any they have & I will pay you for them.
My factors had them on back order because I buy them a lot from them only to be told by the wholesaler that they are no longer manufactured.

Cheers,
Derek.
