We had a complete Suzuki Supercarry 1988, fitted with LPG, I put it on E-bay last year, as a complete van, but non runner/no mot etc. We got £180 for it from an exporter.
I thought it would have made more, but nobody wanted it.
Regards Tim.

The problem with L.P.G. is the space the additional storage tank takes up.

It can be done :

http://www.sbautogas.co.uk/recent_conversions/pictures/Bedford%20Bambi/bedford_rascal.htm

I'm looking to buy a cheap system that is compatible, however the problem is working out what tank to use. They come in various sizes and flavours, donut shaped and cylinder shaped as seen in the picture. One place a donut tank could go is under the spare wheel, just possibly. Otherwise the cylinder under the bunk seems to work fine.

I can't see the price of petrol going down below 130 for any sustained period of time. Too many greedy commodity traders and oil companies will hold stocks to keep prices artifically high. Then throw in 'peak oil theory'.

LPG is the only way to go in the long run.

We had a huge tank in the rear of our van, it was between the rear arches and took up most of the available space, but you can get spare wheel ones, which would work.
We used to look after a bambi that had a huge tank behind the fuel tank, which was used to supply the cooker etc, so maybe you can get one lpg that will fit in the same place ?
We had an LPG Carry once too, did 180,000 miles before we sold it, ran like a dream.
It started life as a courier van. we bought it as repairable salvage for just £1300 approx 10 years ago. it was a 2001 Model. I wish I could buy them for that now !!.
