Have had a hard few days, but decided that all parts must go now, we have been holding on, but now sadly it looks like we will stop selling any rascal parts very soon, our sales are down and therefore no longer viable to rent the space to store the parts.
We are getting about a third of the price for bits that we were getting 5 years ago, but our costs have risen.
I am now looking to close down the rascal parts /suzuki parts business, but hopefully still do some repairs, but even that is not 100% secure now.
In short, we will go out of business if we don't do something.
Most parts will be scrapped along with 10 incomplete vans, so if you think you need something ask us, otherwise it and we , will be gone.
And no , this isn't a sales drive !!. and no the parts are not going free !.
We can get good money as scrap , but I wish I had took the offer from the African now, but thought there would be demand in the UK. Sadly I got it wrong.
Thanks to those of you who have supported us over the last 15 years or so, and especially thanks to those who have travelled a long way in order for us to do work for you.
Regards Tim.

Sad to hear that, I know I have had a few bits and pieces over the years and even spotted a while back when you had the lot up for sale on eBay.

I would suggest (depending on state) trying to eBay the vans, there may well be demand for people looking for a project and will at least keep them on the road.

I'll sticky this topic for you, see if we can drum up a bit of support before it all has to go.

I got offered £1000 for 13 vans, all have many parts missing, but have managed to sell 13 rear axles to one customer who builds something special with them.
So one by one starting next week, the vans are off, I would love someone to take the Danbury with pop-up roof and do something with the roof, it is on E-Bay for £300, which when you consider a new roof is £1500, and there isn't one for a Rascal or Suzuki Supercarry made anymore, is reasonable isn't it Huh?.

Hello Maddy, you could try justkampers, they sell material to refurbish vw pop-up roofs, and I am sure you could cut one to fit.
we also know of a company in Bristol who supplied the vinyl to re-do some danbury pop-up roof windows. If I can find the name I will post it here for you.
I have a feeling it is something like "Kingswood Canvas".
