Went up into attic today to see if cluster flies have arrived as usual, and there are millions up there, I use a rentokil  product that usual kills the lot after a couple of days, the roof joists were black with flies.
Now with spot lamp left on to get em moving there are literally millions ( well hundreds) air bourne.
Happy days !!

They are very small flies, that favour attics etc, when the weather gets cold.
A couple of years ago we got our Christmas decorations out of the attic and suddenly there were flies everywhere, in most windows etc. ( same as can be seen in your caravan, or camper or house if it is left shut up, usually in the windows)
The last few years years have seen a lot more, but one treatment with rentokil product and they are done !!. All you do is open the air freshner like device and place it high up, I usually place it as high up as possible, put the spot lamp on to get em going and leave em to it !!
We live in a very old house, on a small holding that has shire horses to do the farm work, but I think it more about the old house, and being in the countryside.
If you Google "Cluster Flies" you will see photos of the little chaps.
