Good evening all,
my husband and i have just bought a bedford rascal with demountable romahome body.  it is amazing and we spent the first night sleeping in it on the drive - sad or what???, tonight we are on our first night away from home in her and dinner was a success, the dog is flat out between the seats which is a relief as at 8 months old he is usually bouncing off the walls at this time. we are currently looking to get some pickup sides for the van so we can drive it without the body.

That's exactly what I did when I got the Bambi to get used to it, not sad just a bit of forward thinking :-)

Welcome to the group.

Not sad at all sleeping on the drive, I often do so in my Bambi just for the fun of it. All I need now though is a old white transit van and a herd of black and white horses.

At one of my annual Real Rockers parties my adult son & four of his friends two of whom were very well  built young ladies slept on the bed in my Bambi parked on the drive.
I couldn`t believe my eyes as they all fell out of the van in the morning.
There could not have been any shenanigans [even though they were known as the Shenanigang] due to the cramped conditions. They were jammed in like sardines!!

My 1982 800 cc Suzuki Pick-up, has a sticker on the window saying " It's impossible in here "
All I can say is "it isn't".
Years ago though, when I was much more flexible !!.
