this is the idea i had in mind for my wheels
they are 7j old toyota alloys so the wheel arches are to cover the stick out
id have to cut the front arch because of the door and may have to adjust to not interfere with the petrol cap
will it spoil the overall look of the rascal with arches sticking out the sides???

It is possible, there was talk on here before and I believe the person that has a HIGHLY modified rascal with a V6 or similar in it did it. Essentially the lower section of the sliding door can be cut out on the internal side and then re-welded.

E.g. from the outside it looks normal, but on the van side of the sliding door half of it is missing. This could be done as the door has an outer and inner skin, so you make it thinner on the inner skin.

Unsure on the weather proof qualities afterwards but anything is possible with some tinkering Wink

i have wide arches off a mini on my van,,,,, they had to be cut along them to thin them down a bit,, but they are still fairly wide, DAVE.

how much do ur arches come out and do they hit on the sliding doors?
what alloy width have u got on urs?
