Turn the key in the van this morning to find the van wont fire up
could this be my spark plugs or starter motor?

even with a jump off another car still wont fire up Angry Angry Angry

fuel pump ticks as normal
and yes it turns over until battery eventually runs flat
it almost started after sitting and trying to turn it over but nothing after that
even with help from the car nothing

have you checked if its sparking at the plugs...at same time looking for traces of fuel...plug should be wet with fuel

is the distributer pinch bolt tight

u sure cam belt hasnt broke..?

check all these things ...

dont take this the wrong  way but is there any fuel in the tank ? you never know some rogue may have sucked it dry.. apart from that check all ignition parts . good luck. noah

tank has a tennas worth in it
im gunna take a look 2morrow but dont know what i am doing
i will check the spark plugs
does anyone live near or in northampton to give me a hand??

It may just be flooded with petrol as it did try to fire. Try it with foot to the floor on the accelerator & dont use the choke unless it fires up then use it to keep it going.

it may have been the engine was flooded Lips sealed
im still going to give her a seeing to today as she has had trouble starting for the last week now
