Hi peeps. Sorry,  don't want to wake anyone up but I'm a bit of a night owl.  Roll Eyes

Am hoping to buy an '06 van to use as everyday vehicle and as a day/campervan. Don't all lol - I'm 4'10" so I figure I can stand up (just) inside and sleep. Have all my camping gear but due to mobility/health issues, I can't do the tent bit anymore. Too much bending to pitch is a killer; am a young at heart 68yr old, always loved the outdoors and want to continue as long as poss.

Thought as a starter maybe just use my camp gear - cooker, ehu, loo, bed, windbreak, etc etc  to see how I go on then p'raps getting a conversion to a permanent 'mini campervan'.

I'm a solo female, am I mad? Honest opinions and advice welcome. Kiss

Personally I welcome anyone "mad" It has been hinted on several occasions that I am to   Roll Eyes

I'm also a lone female ,I have a Bambi,(I need a real car for work!!) I tented for years so it seems a real luxury to me & I love it  Kiss.......

If you love the camping/outdoors why not go for a camper straight off......save you money in the long run??

Have a look at a few of the pictures on here to see what you like the look of

& I know everyone will help you out as to where to look for one...they're a great bunch......well most of them!!  Wink

Enjoy & have fun  Cheesy

Not Mad at all, we sell most of our micro campers to like minded people, who just can't sit indoors all day and want to "get out there".
So welcome to you and lets hope you get as much advice as you need to build a vehicle that does just what you want.
If you would like some photos of the things we do please visit www.bedfordrascal.com and click on the Picasa photo link, which is our on-line photo album .
