What's this wire do?

Just wondering what the gang thought of this 12v wire. Hopefully it's not for the secret Bambi self-destruct button. It used to be part of something but I'm not quite sure what. Long shot I know but any guesses would be fantastic. I was thinking of fitting an inverter to the end of it if I can't figure out what to do with it. It's currently live, too!
The new relay seems to work great by the way.

Red script on a brown carpet doesn't show up to well.
It's the feed to the fridge, just unplug it. it's only an ordinary 'Hella' plug.

Spot on. Thanks!
Bambi didn't self-destruct either!
Just out of curiosity what sort of appliance would you hook up to the empty plug, say a heater fan, laptop adaptor etc?

The fixed socket ( female) is a 12 volt supply, for the fridge to run on 12 volts when engine is running.
It is fed via one of the relays in the battery compartment and should only be live when the ignition is on.
The black plastic plug ( male) should be plugged in when 12 volt fridge operation is required.
The other end of the cable shown in your photo should be connected to the fridge 12 volt heating element. ( not the igniter) This is usually approx a third of the way up the heating tower on the fridge.
There should be a permanent 12 volt supply also connected to the fridge, usually using 2 core, Cable, with a black and red cable inside a black covering. This connects to the choc-block connector ( block with 4 screws in it) on the underside of the fridge, and then on to the igniter box.
I don't know why Autohomes used what looks like 2 core mains cable ( the white one in your photo) for the plug in question, but we had a customer fit a mains plug to it and promptly blew a fuse !!!. I would have used another colour, or a label.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Tim,
Help much appreciated as usual.
Looks like my electricians wired everything back up different, they also installed a rocker switch next to the fridge to turn it on-off.
