Bambi's Welsh holiday

Hi Folks

Just got back from a great week in North Wales.  We enjoyed the fruits of all the work I've carried out over the last few months. 

We stayed on Anglesey and visited areas in the Snowdon National Park including Beddgelert, a beautiful location well worth a visit.

Very impressed with Bambi's performance.  We covered over 700 miles.  With three people and our equipment she averaged around 30 mpg, cruised easily at 60 mph and had no trouble with the hills.  In fact I only occasionally had to drop to third on the steepest hills, so all in all very pleased.

Glad you had a great time, I was in south and central Wales earlier in the summer and will be back to visit North wales in September for a longer holiday.

The slower traffic pace because of the smaller main roads compared with England really suited the Bambi and apart from the A40 I didn't get the usual traffic queue behind me    Always clear in front though
