Hi I'm looking for opening side windows for my 1987 little rascal van, either for the sliding doors, the panels, or both depending on the price. Be very grateful if anyone knows of any. Cash waiting.

Hi TITCH
thanks for the suggestion but I rang tim first and he could only offer new ones, so I'm sitting tight for a while and hoping some s/h ones come up for sale. These rascals are pretty interesting and more than a bit addictive aren't they-after owning one for only two months, and never having done more than watch a few vids on utube, suddenly I'm talking to people about my little blue van on the internet-quite a feat for such a computer illiterate like me! Be good to go to a meet one of the days and see all the wierd and wonderful rascals and meet some owners.

                                         Cheers!

                                                           Miss Sparrow.

I have some used windows for the rear 1/4 panels, they are fixed glass/non-opening, but sadly none for the sliding doors, but i can get new ones with either opening windows, or the cheapest option is the fixed glass /non-opening ones, you can have a fixed glass one side and an opening on the other if you prefer.
For options and prices, see www.leisurevehiclewindows.co.uk  they supply us.

I will have some windows for the sliding doors and rear panels available at some point but can't really say when I'm afraid.
They are on an ex minibus which I use for spares for my current Rascal. Its also used as a shed so is full of junk. Taking the windows out now will just let the rain it.
I've been meaning to cut it up and scrap it for a while but it keeps on giving me free parts (this summer a speedo cable and a rear spring) so I'm reluctant to scrap it just yet. I'll let you know.
(And anyone else please don't ask for parts - anything else I'm keeping as spares for my own van. I've always had a scrapper - saves me a fortune. The only things I'd sell are rear seats and bullbars).

depend on where you are and state of the door could you not do a swap with some cash as the door has to be cut to fit window so you end up with a door with no window which is a bit more secure

Hi Tim

Thanks for the info. I've already spoken to leisure vehicles and got a quote so I think that is my best option at the moment. At least then my dogs will have a bit more light and ventilation when we're out and about.

                                                                    Best wishes
