Buy a cheap small car as a runabout while you look for a good Rascal & flog it when you have found one.

Dont rush into buying a Rascal & avoid post 1992 supercarry`s.

I'm on my own...and know nothing about cars....well I can drive!!  Wink

I got my Bambi on pre-loved.... I looked on other rascal sites to give me a clue-ish for what I was looking for...I just wanted a camper van, no specific make in mind.... till I saw a Bambi....

I read through the ad's wanted to be sure of long mot....at least it was roadworthy..... and see how much had been done to them...repairs, service history....

I went to see it..and was very lucky...lady owner who had brought it for the reasons I wanted it...and she loved it...but was moving on to bigger newer model....

Test drive..... I just listened for any odd noises..... looked for noticeable damp, damage rust etc..... & brought her...Beryl.. NOT the woman!!

Just don't be hasty coz you need one...use your gut feeling & womanly intuition..... after all you don't owe seller anything & if they are making a big sell job, they are desperate to get shot of it!! so run for the hills........

Buying should be a pleasure for you and the seller...if they are relaxed easy come easy go,they know they can sell it...and will bide thier time till the right seller comes along........You'll know if it's right  Wink
