Thanks for the welcome everyone, indeed i do know David(Sham)

As a matter of fact he introduced this site to me a few weeks ago(from an NZ forum), and i finally got around to joining here. I shall try to resist posting pictures of our winter  Tongue

Would love to one day do an engine transplant in my carry/rascal, although ill admit that is beyond my level, but there was someone who i met down here in new zealand who has dropped a suzuki K10A DOHC EFI Turbo engine into his, infact i bought some wheels off of him. I would assume most of you have seen this, but if not here it is anyway, i did find it really interesting myself, mainly about the sump modification and so on required to get the engine in on such a slant

On a sadder note my carry is in a little bit of a bad way right now, had been having issues with brakes binding/sticking, and have spent a rather large amount on new front brake pistons, only to find the back ones are buggered too, and the master cylinder is hopefully alright, but might also be corroded. It is almost as if the previous owner put water in the brake fluid or something. Badly rusted and corroded brake pistons  Cry
