I was marshalling at this section on the outskirts of Kirkmichael one flag position before the "incident" & we got a shout over the marshal`s walkie talkie that Dan Kneen had had a big "moment" & stayed on.
Having watched the clip I fully  understand what they meant now.
This was a very lucky escape as there is no "get out of jail" card to play in this section.
If a rider crashes he/she hits something very hard at about 150 m.p.h.
