OK, relating to the 'Missfires when driving in the wet' bit...
Apon inspection of mine, NO rubber seal/gasket on the bottom of the dizzie where the top, bakelight (? spelling) plastic bit clips on.
So I have a 'new' one and I've put it on. Not going deep water wading yet though.
I notice that the exhaust has, or had, a heatshield, as I suspected steam will rush up and surround the dizzie when road water hits the exhaust. I'll be making a new shield this weekend time permitting.
But also, inbetween the HT leads on top of the dizzie, is an angled (90 degree) .....thingy!
It looks like a pipe should be in there, but I can't seem to see one anywhere lurking.
It seems to run OK, but something is missing??

So what can't I find?Huh Chop???

Thanks,
Titch
