Evening All

I've dropped a clanger tonight.  I've been rebuilding the radius arms tonight after rubbing them down and painting them last Saturday, ready to go with the new bushes.  Just went to give the bolts a last tighten and the last bolt on the wishbone end of the radius arm went loose.  Immediatley got that sick feeling and its stripped the thread  Cry

So, does anyone have a spare radius arm I can buy, or alternatively any suggestions - re-tap it maybe?

I could have sworn/cried ..... please add your own suggestion.

Cheers

On a better note, I've managed to pick up two from the scrapper after a bit of wrestle.  Also, managed to get a windscreen which I'll be dropping in tomorrow if Chop is reading this  Grin

Also, gonna try a nyloc nut before I take it all apart again!

Cheers

Well, finally got chance to have another look tonight.  Went equipped with Nylocs, replacement arms and socket set.  Thought , I'd just try a nut and washer off the replacement arm, and b@gger me if it didn't go on and tighten up.  May have been the nut that stripped its threads originally.

Anyway, going to leave well alone now, and it anyone needs replacement radius arms, I know where there is a set!

 Grin

Are you talking about the bushes on the Rascal ?!?! ha ha

Have I got to order a set from that suzuki dealer and drop them in on my way to Brid again?!  Grin

Seriously, though if you need a hand to change them, should be able to give a few pointers - mine have been off and back together enough times in the last 3 weeks!
