Well fetched the bushes - £15.00 later.  But they got here exactly when they said they would and they were very helpful.  Parts guy had worked for 20 years at Vauxhall before, so definitely knew his stuff.

Got a bit of a question though I've got a metal tubular spacer which you put through the middle of the bushes.   But when I took one set off there appears to be almost a big washer that basically arusty ring on the one I've took off- seems to have sat between the two bushes?

There's a photo in the Haynes manual which shows something between the retaining ridge/ring on the radius arm and the bush itself - photo 6.2 on page10.10 'suspension and steering'  if anyones looking- just not sure if this is part of the mount or a separate spacer between the bushes which maybe what the rusty remains on the parts I took off are?

Any ideas?
Cheers

Hi

Thanks for the info.  I'd put one side back together and it did go ok, but if it needs a washer I'd be better fitting one.  If you had got a couple that'd be brill - no hurry.  If you let me know your paypal if you accept it I'll deposit the required amount, or can send a cheque or whatever.

Cheers!

Noah pm'd you again - thankyou again for your kind offer  Grin

I've been down to the scrapyard again and played in the sunshine and got mucky whilst 'er indoors held the sockets.

In the process I've managed to get some better radius mounts and all the original fixings are in pretty good condition.  I've been wire brushing them and giving them a going over with the dremel.  Then given them a coat of Kurust, and a couple of coats of red primer.  Just now giving them the gloss black top coats and I'll try and put some pictures up.  May even try and do a guide if I get chance.

Cheers
