Anyone know where is the cheapest place to get front wheel bearings for my my pick up?

Went down to my local parts shop and they quoted me £48 inc VAT per side... i felt that was pretty exspencive, but is this the price they usualy are?

Typically enough i really need to do both sides, and could really do with getting them done next week as im away on holiday up north in the old girl soon, and its bad enough with just side winds on a motorway, never mind wheel bearing wobble as well... lol.

I think I have a pair in stock. I definitely have one. £30.00 each plus a fiver postage.
Are you sure the bearing is shot because I have never had to replace a front wheel bearing.

Try getting hold of the part number/bearing type off the bearing. Then take it to a bearing maufactures and get them to match it up. I have done this in the past and it saves alot of money over motorfactors/main dealers prices  Grin

yeah, i'm pretty sure the play is in the bearing, theres no movement coming from the ball joint or the track rod end...

I've got another option to look at but i'll PM you Dell Boy if i'm wanting them, cheers.
