FOLKS I AM REALLY STUCK ON THIS ONE...

I HAVE A VISION OF MY NEW RASCAL WITH 13 IN WHEELS BUT AM NOT UP TO SPEED YET ON THE TECHNICAL POINTS AND AM A BIT STUCK...

SPOTTED A FEW TOPICS ON THIS BUT TO BE HONEST THEY LOST ME...I'M A COMPLETE BEGINNER ON THIS.

CAN I PUT 13 INCH WHEELS ON A RASCAL WITHOUT MODIFICATION AND IF SO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS AVAILABLE???

OR IF I NEED TO FIT WIDE ARCHES ANYBODY KNOW OF AN OFF THE SHELF OPTION?

I OWNED A LAND ROVER THAT HAD WHITE WELLER/WELLAR WHEELS ON IT AND HAVE SEEN THESE ONLINE IN 13 INCH SIZES...ANYBODY HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE WHEELS??? I QUITE LIKE THE LOOK OF THEM AND LIKE THAT THEY ARE STEEL WHEELS. I ALSO QUITE LIKE THE STAR MAG TYPE WHEELS AS SEEN ON CLASSIC MINIS.

I HAVE READ ONLINE THAT YOU CAN GET MINILITE STYLE ALLOYS TO FIT BUT IN NORTHERN IRELAND EVERYONE WITH A CLASSIC CAR HAS THESE WHEELS AND I WOULD LIKE SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

I REALISE MINE IS PROBABLY A COMMON QUESTION BUT IF ANYONE COULD TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO EXPLAIN MY OPTIONS IN SIMPLE TERMS I WOULD BE EVER SO GRATEFUL.

Hi Rascal NI.

Please do not talk all it capital letters, online it is read as SHOUTING!

Thanks Wink

In regards to the wheels the main thing to check is the "PCD", beyond that they should fit but depending on the size and shape you may need to fit some longer wheel bolts or possibly some spacers.

If you take a look at the guide in the how-to section it gives a fairly good idea of what the "PCD" relates to Smiley

Come to think of it, whats your opinion on wider wheels, does anybody reckon they will improve the stability on my Rascal?
