anyone know where i can get a 14mm cobalt drill for stainless steel,just need to drill 14 holes in stainless tube

Hi jj....stainless steel isnt a hard steel...but its tough...you need to start small and work up to the hole size you require...bigger the bit the slower your drill speed....

hi chop already drilled smaller holes but having a mare going bigger as i had smaller cobalt drills

cobalt drills are available at most decent hardware shops...

Stainless steel "work hardens" when it gets hot. Sharp drill, very,very slow speed & cooling lubricant is the way to go, stopping if there are signs the drill or metal are getting hot. Keep it cool!!
