Hi All

I'm after a replacement bullbar. Mine has cracked across one of the mounting legs.  My bro has said it would be possible to repair, but would involve cutting the legs off and starting from scratch, as billy bodget has patched them together before.  Will collect and would therefore prefer it in the midlands area.  However, willing to travel for the right item.

Let me know what you have.

Cheers

It's not legal to either make, sell or put a new one on a vehicle.

Hi All

Sorry, I hadn't got back to you earlier.

Chris, I'd have been happy to lend it as a pattern - would obviously need to be repaired first.  But, this link may explain the legislative changes;

http://www.frontalprotectionsystems.eu/

Hope this helps and will keep my eye out on the bay of 'e' for another one.

If anyone has got one they want to get rid of let me know  Grin

Cheers

A vehicle fitted with one before the new regs came into force can continue to use their existing one as long as it's in good repair.

Some MOT testers may be a bit pedantic, rather than argue go to another less pedantic tester having first reminded him that he doesn't write the law just, like the rest of us, comply with the law.
