With petrol set to rocket again, and my bambi's MPG not really stellar, I was thinking about a conversion and how much sense it might make when she's finally back on the road.

Simple engine, no multipoint ignition, ecu blah blah, only 4 cylinders etc, I was wondering how cheap it could be done!

Any thoughts?

It's getting the kit, that's old enough to work the Rascal engine, but not worn out.
They are about, but, watch your insurance implications etc.

I used to run Range Rovers on gas, fantastically cheaper, but you do need to do the mileage to warrant the costs.
The logical thing is to 'shove' in a 3.9 RR lump with auto box to warrant it!
